It is very important to ensure that you have the correct time set on the device, failure to do so will result in users being denied access at the door. An unsynchronized device may cause the LED light to flash blue and red. Another way to identify this problem is when you have users appearing as an “Expired User” in the Real Time Monitoring tab.
Set Device Time
To set the device time, go to the Device tab and select your device.
Click on Get Device Time.
If the date or time reverts back to a date other than the current date and time, check the “Get Host PC Time” and then click Set Device Time.
After setting the device time, you may unselect “Get Host PC Time”. Click Get Device Time one more time to confirm that the correct date and time were written into the device memory.
